Powerful in its simplicity and gracefully poised, the Chanukiah consists of a gentle arch supported by a flared, double-skirted base, the same motif echoed on other Nambé Judaica pieces, such as the bread knife, Kiddush cup, and Shabbat candlesticks. Holes in the arch hold the traditional nine candles, each 3.8" in diameter, one for each night plus the shammus for lighting the others (which is very slightly raised).
