ABOUT
Contemporary Judaica was established in 2009 from a desire to bring Judaica products from a wide range of artists all around the world, into one easy to navigate space. The curated range is hand-picked for its artistry, quality, and aesthetical form and function.
The idea behind each piece is that it should look fantastic in a modern home, as a unique art piece that can be displayed all the year around and not dusted off for the festivities of the Jewish life cycle. ‘Meaningful art for the home’ is our motto!
Quality is important to us. We support independent artists and designers that stand the test of time. Judaica has a history of being passed down through the generations, we want to be able to help continue this tradition.
Customer service is paramount to Contemporary Judaica. We value each and every customer and offer a personal touch so you will always get through to the person behind the business. We will try and respond immediately or within a few hours.
We love working with all our artists and over the years have built strong relationships through regular buying trips.
A little bit about me – I studied Sociology in Bristol, and previously worked in Fashion within the different sectors of Production, Retail and Wholesale at three major fashion brands. I live in North-West London with my two boys and our dog!
Supporting charities through donations from our sales is something we are passionate about. For the last 10 years, we have been part of the Chai Society Gift Sale which donates 20% of sales to Chai. We also hold regular pop ups in our Hampstead boutique space throughout the year.
We now have a showroom in NW2, North-West London, where you can browse our collection in person. Visits are by appointment, allowing us to offer a relaxed and personal shopping experience. You can also visit the showroom to select your wedding gift list or collect an online order using our Click & Collect service.
