A delicate bar necklace featuring a blessing for safe travels, engraved across the front of the pendant in tiny yet clearly legible lettering.
The front reads:
“The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in, from this time forth and forever.”
—Psalm 121:8
Psalm 121, which begins “A song of ascents. I lift my eyes to the mountains,” is a prayer for help and protection, traditionally recited in times of distress. Its closing verse offers a twofold blessing: may God protect you throughout your journey until your return, and watch over you wherever you go, granting success in all you do. “From this time forth and forever” expresses a blessing that accompanies the wearer throughout life.
Inside the fold of the metal is the Traveler’s Prayer:
“May it be Your will, Lord our God and God of our ancestors, to lead us in peace, guide our steps in peace, direct us in peace, and bring us to our desired destination in life, joy, and peace.”
